"To most, Wendy's cakes (Haute Cakes & Cookies) are delicious works of art. To my family, they mean a little more. Several years ago, I asked Wendy to create a special travel-themed birthday cake for my wife who, at the time, was being treated for cancer. We (along with the 50 or so friends at the party) marveled at the result. Wendy created an ornate (and delicious) cake that had several artistic references to family vacations we had taken in the past. Though Wendy may not have realized it at the time, those little references reminded my wife to keep fighting (there were more trips to come!). Thankfully, my wife eventually recovered. We're grateful to Wendy for helping us make a memory and for her act of encouragement. She's not only an artist and a gifted baker but, most importantly, a wonderful person. She has our most sincere thanks and we encourage everyone to use her services."

Amazed and delighted

"When I finally saw the cake, I nearly cried --- it was even more beautiful than I had imagined it! After seeing my daughter's cakes disappoint us twice, I was prepared to be disappointed with this one, thinking that they may just never quite look like the pictures. When I saw our cake, though, I was totally bowled over by the quality of what Wendy had brought us! The stripes looked exactly like lovely black satin ribbons, and I absolutely loved them. The toile design was done SO perfectly --- what artistry! Wendy's the BEST, and has been an absolute joy to work with. We'll be really good word-of-mouth advertisement for Haute Cakes and Cookies!"

AN EXTRAORDINARY CAKE
"My name is Daria and I am an event planner with Extraordinary Events. I recently enlisted Wendy of Haute Cakes and Cookies as a vendor for a Super 16 All Star Bash. We wanted a basketball themed cake. She created numerous sketches. We chose a 3-D basketball court complete with stadium seating and players. This cake was without a question, a work of art! It looked spectacular !!!! One could possible think that a cake that was visionally exceptional, could not possibly taste as great..... This cake tasted as divine, as it appeared. It was incredibly moist. I was sincerely impressed. Most amazing cake ever!!!!
"I went to a coworkers little girls 1st birthday. When my friend walked out w/ her little girls cake, I could not believe it was real! It was precious! I got the name of the lady who made it...and that's how I found Wendy at Haute Cakes and Cookies.

I was hosting a baby shower, and wanted the cake to be out of the world! Man was it ever. I sent Wendy a photo of one of the decorations we were bringing to the shower, and that's where she got the inspiration for our cake. It seriously was the cutest cake I have ever seen. The prices were very reasonable, and her customer service is just outstanding! She went above and beyond my expectations, and I will be a returning customer for sure! Thanks so much Wendy!!!"

"And cookies too!!! When my daughter was performing in the musical Grease, she wanted to give something special to her fellow pink ladies for opening night. We went to Wendy, the creative genius behind Haute Cakes & Cookies. Wendy designed the cutest cookie bouquets I've ever seen!!! The cookies were perfect and the presentation was icing on the cake, er uh cookie, right down to the pink tulle, pink boas and pink satin ribbon! "Wendy made the cakes for my wedding and she made it all about me. Anything I wanted; and Wendy can truly do ANYTHING. She is one of the most talented and creative people I have ever met. The chocolate groom's cake with white and dark chocolate covered strawberries was delicious and beautiful beyond description. The yellow and white diamond and daisy bride's cake is on her website, but there is no way to tell from the pictures how perfectly detailed and beautiful it was. Not only were they beautiful, but I honestly don't think I have tasted a better cake! You will never be disappointed in anything you order from Haute Cakes and Cookies!"

30th birthday cake!
"My husband threw me a huge 30th surprise party! Besides all of my friends being there, the cake was my favorite part. It looked like vintage luggage with tropical flowers all over it and many personal touches that made it special just for me. I have only seen cakes like this on food network! The cake was the talk of the party! It was so difficult to cut into the cake but I'm glad we did because it tasted as good as it looked. The cake was delicious! "I was referred to Haute Cakes by a friend. After reviewing her website, I was hooked. The design element is what will get you. Wendy's work is so fantastic! The amazing part about her cakes is that they taste as good as they look! There is something about her icing that makes you go weak at the knees. I could not pass out her cards fast enough at my daughter's party. My daughter loved her cake and the kids could not get enough of her cupcakes.
